J. Price Brock

Price joined Orthopedic Associates in 1973. A graduate of Mississippi College and Baylor College of Medicine, he completed his internship and his orthopedic residency at the Baylor Affiliated Hospitals in Houson, and was board certified in 1974. Dr. Brock served as assistant team physician for the Houston Oilers football team. As a Navy Physician, he was a battalion surgeon with the Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was a charter member of the Hendrick Medical Center Foundation Board and served as Chief of Staff, Hendrick Medical Center, 1990-91. Dr. Brock was instrumental in starting the scoliosis screening program for the Abilene Independent School District. He has been team physician for the local high schools since 1974. He and his wife Nancy, Executive Director of Sylvan Learning Center, serve on church and community boards. They are parents of two adult children. |

| Robert L. Dickey

Robert L. Dickey, M.D., is a graduate of The University of Texas in Dallas and graduated from medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his internship, orthopedic residency, and arthroscopy/sports medicine fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Houston. Dr. Dickey has served as a team physician for the Houston Oilers football team during his training. He joined Orthopedic Associates of Abilene in 1987 and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Dickey's interests include total joint replacement including complex and revision joint replacement surgery and sports medicine. He is active on the Hendrick Health System staff and has served on the Medical Executive Committee. He also serves as team physician for Abilene Independent School District including Abilene High School and Cooper High School. He is an active member of the Taylor-Jones-Haskell Medical Society having served on the executive board and also as a delegate to the Texas Medical Association. He and his wife serve on several community boards. They have three children. |

Dr. Santman joined Orthopedic Associates of Abilene October 2003. Dr. Santman graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He then completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans. During residency, Dr. Santman received multiple awards for teaching and research. His research project on allograft bone healing won an international award, was presented at national meetings, and later published. Dr. Santman's practice includes all aspects of general orthopedics except the spine. He treats patients from birth to old age, and prides himself on educating patients about their disease and the options available to treat it. Dr. Santman and his wife are active in the Abilene community and have two sons.

Paul McDonough

Dr. McDonough attended medical school at UCLA in Los Angeles, California. He graduated as the winner of the Longmire Medal as the student graduating number one in his class in surgery. He also received the Award of Alpha Omega Alpha, which is for the top 10% of the graduating class. Dr. McDonough's medical training continued at UCLA in an Orthopaedic surgery residency. He developed an interest in spinal surgery working with Dr. Rick Delamarter, the premier west coast spinal surgeon. This clinical experience as well as research experience provided the privilege of acceptance into a spinal surgery fellowship under the world famous Dr. Thomas Zdeblick the University of Wisconsin. In 2001 Dr. McDonough relocated to Abilene, Texas with his family. He joined Orthopedic Associates, which has 2 offices, one north and one south. Dr. McDonough is the ONLY Fellowship trained Spinal Surgeon between Fort Worth and Lubbock. Dr. McDonough has participated in numerous research projects and educational seminars.
